Easy contract management and terminations

Smartkündigen needed to evolve from a simple contract termination service into a comprehensive contract management platform, expanding their business model to better serve their users.

Through a user-centered design approach, I developed a consistent product and brand experience across both web and a new mobile app. Solution enabled users to track all their contracts and subscriptions, receive smart tips, and explore upsell opportunities for potential improvements. Special thanks to Jannis Wicke with whom I have cooperated during this phase the whole time.

The design focused on minimalism, providing a simple yet engaging interface that allows users to quickly manage their contracts. Key features were immediately visible, with playful elements like small animations to enhance the user experience.

This transformation helped Smartkündigen acquire over 500,000 users, with many now managing and canceling contracts via the platform, significantly broadening the company’s reach and market impact.
